The Mount Horeb VFW Post 9511, Mount Horeb American Legion Post 113, and Wisconsin Vietnam Veterans Chapter IV, partnered together to establish and build a new Veterans Memorial in Mount Horeb. The three entities have established the Mount Horeb Veterans Memorial Association, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit that will be managed by a 7-member board and handle all donations associated with the new Memorial. The new Memorial is projected to cost $627,000. It is the hope of the Mount Horeb Veterans Memorial Association to hit this fundraising goal over the next few years through generous contributions provided by businesses and individuals just like you. 

We are now into Phase 2 of the fundraising effort to support the Maintenance Fund that will fund the replacement of 10 flags on the windy site quarterly to assure following proper flag etiquette and assure presentable flags for viewing. We are also responsible for all mowing and ground maintenance on the Memorial site as well as the continual landscaping, cleaning of Tributes, and sealing of Pavers and concrete.

Our goal is to raise a total that will allow us to create a small endowment fund to adequately fund these activities! Our initial goal is to raise enough to be able support the total maintenance for several years. After a year of studying the cost we will be able to accurately determine a figure that we will need each year for maintaining the Memorial Park.
